Spindly, Lost

A toddler; wobbling, chaotic, intensely excited, and a fawn; spindly, lost, desperate for attachment, make the warmest of companions. There is joy in the immediacy of their friendship, the blind loyalty they share, the protection they offer each other. It is a reminder of how unconditionally kind our treatment of the vulnerable should be, a testament to softness.
